Focuses on vegan related products but may contain non-vegan ingredients in small quantities. May also contain non-vegan cross contamination.
An international certification confirming that the product was grown, harvested or made with care by farmers and workers according to rigorous social, environmental and economic standards.
An international certification confirming that the product was organically grown, produced, stored, processed, handled and marketed in accordance to precise standards.
Made from the recovery of plastic scraps or waste, reprocessed and reused in such a way as to create a new product.
Entirely made from discarded objects or material, and reused in such a way as to create a new product.
Created with controlled economically-sound processes that minimize negative impacts on society and the environment, in particular, energy and water conservation.
Product packaging can safely be discarded in the compost bin as it will decompose in the natural environment without causing any ecological harm.
GOTS is an international certification that confirms at least 95% organic fiber in textiles and limits the use of toxic inputs. OEKO-TEX is similar but covers also non-organic textiles.
Product was produced without any genetic engineering and its ingredients are not derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
Does not contain gluten, a protein present in wheat and all its varieties such as spelt, kamut, barley, rye, oat and derivatives of these grains such as malt and triticale.
Does not contain sugars from dairy foods produced from the milk of mammals (such as cows and goats).
Does not contain any salt or other antibacterial agents that destroy bacteria, prevent mold growth, and keep food fresh for a longer period.
Producer offsets its carbon emission by planting trees with a registered Voluntary Organisation or NGO.
Producer endorses its corporate social responsibility by donating a % of profits to a registered Voluntary Organisation or NGO.
The nature of the product itself advocates for gender equality, or the product is produced by a female-owned business.
